The American Institute of Architects (AIA) recognized seven projects with its 2020 Interior Architecture Awards. The 2020 Interior Architecture Awards celebrate innovative interior spaces. A five-member jury evaluates entries based on design achievement including sense of place and purpose, ecology and environmental sustainability, and history. Recipients are:

  • Google, Spruce Goose, Mountainview, Calif.: ZGF Architects LLP, Portland, Ore.
  • MASS MoCA Building, North Adams, Mass.: Bruner Cott Architects, Boston
  • Voxman Music Building, Iowa City, Iowa: LMN Architects, Seattle
