The Metal Building Contractors & Erectors Association (MBCEA) announces the passing of Bev Ketenbrink. Bev and her husband, Bob, were very special people. Their leadership and support were integral to the success of the MBCEA, MBI and the Quality and Craftsmanship Training Series. Our annual service award, the Oil Can, is named in their honor. A snippet of her obituary follows:

Beverly Ann Ketenbrink, 77, of Decatur, passed away Tuesday, December 11, 2018, in Decatur Memorial Hospital.

Beverly was born December 11, 1941, in Pontiac, IL, the daughter of William Wayne and Virginia Mae (Page) Stith. A member of First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) in Pontiac, IL, Beverly was co-owner, along with her husband, and office manager for Spacemark, Inc, a metal building construction company. She loved to bowl, was a member of various bowling leagues and many trade organizations. She married Robert Louis “Bob” Ketenbrink on September 20, 1959, in Pontiac, IL, and he preceded her in death on August 21, 2014.
