Laminators Inc. is proud to announce and welcome Michael Lukac as its new Construction Services Department Manager and Chris Schmidt as an Architectural Project Manager.

Michael Lukac

Lukac comes to Laminators with a wealth of knowledge and experience in the architecture industry. He earned a Bachelor of Architecture from Philadelphia University in Philadelphia, as well as spent the last 13 years working for luxury home builder Toll Brothers Inc. as a Senior Materials Estimator and Studio Leader. As the Construction Services Department Manager, Lukac will oversee and coordinate a wide array of inter-related tasks within the Construction Services Department and interactions with other Laminators Inc. departments including, but not limited to, Design Engineering, Sales, and the production side of the Fabrication department. As manager, he’ll be responsible for scheduling, logistics management, resource allocation management, contract management, and process improvement.

Chris Schmidt

Schmidt comes to Laminators with a background in Aluminum Composite Material project management with his most recent position being at Douglass Colony Group as an Aluminum Composite Material Panel Designer. Schmidt earned an Applied Science degree in Computer Drafting and Design from ITT Technical Institute in Westminster, Colo. As Architectural Project Manager, he’ll perform a wide array of tasks such as producing shop drawings; interfacing with installer-supplied, as-built field measurements; producing fabrication drawings; managing the construction side of fabrication projects; performing material takeoffs support; and providing sales support relative to fabricated ACM products.

Lukac and Schmidt are both based in the Hatfield, Pa., office (headquarters) and report directly to Laminators’ Director of Technical Services, Christopher Bucci, MEng.CE, PE.

“The Construction Services Department will serve as an enhanced customer service avenue for projects in the construction phase. They will be responsible for interactions with construction teams at all levels from shop drawings through field training. The ultimate goal is to ensure that the specified Laminators ACM installation system gets installed properly and to specification every time,” Bucci said.
