Bloomfield, Conn.-based Fairview Architectural North America and Woburn, Mass.-based RHEINZINK America Inc. announced the companies are in a strategic partnership. The collaboration provides Fairview with exclusive rights to the RHEINZINK prePATINA zinc skins for its’ zinc composite material (ZCM). The zinc finishes will be available on Fairview’s Vitrabond FR metal composite material (MCM).

The ZCM cladding consists of a Vitrabond aluminium composite panel with a front zinc skin supplied by RHEINZINK. There are two zinc finishes All of the zinc finishes can be found in Fairview’s new color chart.

The two companies have already collaborated on the 70 Charlton St. project in New York City, designed by New York City-based Beyer Blinder Belle Architects and Planners LLP. The project has Vitrabond FR with RHEINZINK’s Graphite Zinc skin. Approximately 5,4000 square feet of ZCM was installed on the exterior of the building.
