Roland Construction Inc. of Stockton, Calif., is the first Metal Building Assembler in the State of California to achieve the prestigious AC478 accreditation by International Accreditation Service (IAS). AC478 is a standard to recognize Metal Building Assemblers committed to excellence. Achieving this accreditation is proof that Roland has the personnel, organization skills, experience, knowledge, management procedures, and commitment to assemble metal buildings. Some of the requirements for this accreditation include: Documented Management Systems, Rigorous Safety Training, Quality Managers, OSHA Training, Documented Safety Plans, Site-Specific Plans, and many other documents.

Mike Reynolds, President of the Metal Building Contractors and Erectors Association (MBCEA) congratulated Roland and acknowledged “this is a special achievement that recognizes Roland’s commitment to excellence and doing the right thing. We applaud Jim Hoagland’s leadership and investment in quality.”

Jim Hoagland, president and owner of Roland Construction, says, “IAS accreditation (AC472) ensures metal buildings are designed and manufactured in accordance with strict industry standards. Now, more than before, building owners and municipalities across the county are asking for the same type of accreditation for contractors and erectors who assemble the buildings. I thank the MBCEA for conceiving and developing this program. We are very proud to be the first contractor in California to achieve AC478 accreditation.”
