The highly anticipated Excellence in Design Awards competition is open to all authorized ABC Builders and Architectural Metal Systems (AMS) Roofers. The award recognizes Builders and Roofers for their innovation, diverse application and distinction in design in the metal buildings industry. Winners are selected by an independent panel of judges.

This year, judges chose from 91 entries and selected the best projects in each of the following categories: Agricultural; Auto Dealerships; Church/Religious; Commercial/Retail; Government/Institutional; Manufacturing/Industrial; Office; Recreation; Roofing; Special Projects Transportation; and Warehouse/Distribution.

Winners were announced for each category and eligible to compete for the Excellence in Design top award: 2017Building of the Year.

“The Excellence in Design Awards is an opportunity for our builders to showcase some of the innovative metal construction projects they’ve worked hard to produce that year,” said Nathan Pranger, Midwest Division General Manager of American Buildings. “We are honored to work with such talented builders and look forward to recognizing them with these awards each year.”
