GEM Inc., of the Rudolph Libbe Group, has launched the GEM Insulation Division.

Resource Mechanical Insulation, which was acquired by GEM Inc. in 2004, will become part of the new division. With offices in Toledo and Lima, the GEM Insulation Division performs industrial and commercial pipe, duct and equipment insulation, jacketing and custom removable insulation blankets.

Joe Pesci has been named operations manager of the GEM Insulation Division.

“The GEM Inc. Insulation Division seamlessly integrates our insulation business with our core business to provide the best value for our customers,” Pesci said.

GEM Inc., part of the Rudolph/Libbe Group, specializes in design, renovation, upgrade, consolidation, relocation and maintenance of industrial processes and manufacturing lines. The Rudolph Libbe Group is among the region’s largest contractors and employs 1,000-1,500 construction trades through offices in Lima, Toledo, Cleveland and Walbridge, Ohio; and Plymouth, Mich.
