Leading researchers and experts in a range of construction disciplines will present on numerous relevant topics, including counsel on effective design for steel and concrete structures, applicable code updates, and an exploration of the timeless teachings of legendary author and engineer, Professor Hardy Cross. The keynote presentation, given by Mike West A.I.A., P.E., F.AISC, will focus on Cross’s numerous approaches to problem solving, with an emphasis on sound judgment over calculations and science. The seminar will provide 7.5 continuing education units, comprising nearly half the hours needed for professional engineers to fulfill their CE requirements for the year.
