The workshop series includes four separate courses plus a Job Readiness Workshop that provides hands-on assistance and instruction in meeting the requirements of specific jobs. The training workshops cover virtually all aspects of working with and installing the architectural rolled zinc. Depending upon the workshop, the training sessions can take place at the contractors place of business or at RHEINZINK America headquarters in Woburn, Mass.

The individual training courses-identified as Workshop A, B, C, D and Job Readiness Workshop-provide practical instruction in the installation of RHEINZINK roofing, facade and gutter systems. The sessions are led by Lou Rondeau, RHEINZINK’s National Applications Training Manager. “We cover zinc theory and common application practices in every workshop in order to give the participant a good working knowledge of zinc using industry standard details,” Rondeau said. “We’re also there to help with challenging jobs and to offer assistance on custom or difficult applications.”

The primary topics are as follows: Workshop A-Introduction to RHEINZINK and basics of seaming techniques; Workshop B-Continuation of seaming techniques; Workshop C-Dormer Roof cladding; Workshop D-Facade cladding; and Job Readiness Workshop-Dealing with specific projects and applications.

The workshops require a minimum of three participants and a maximum of 14. To schedule a workshop or for more information on RHEINZINK, call (781) 729-0812 or visit www.rheinzink.us.
