UL Environment has exciting news for manufacturers, LEED APs and other team members. We have recently announced a collaboration with the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC) to develop digital tools that help architects, designers and buyers identify products in UL’s SPOT database that contribute to LEED v4 requirements.

SPOT was introduced to the marketplace in late 2016 and was recognized as one of “The Best Things at Autodesk University” by Hingepoint that year. Click here to check out other important milestones the tool has reached since then.

And now, USGBC endorses SPOT as a database that helps LEED APs and other project team members find products that contribute to credits within LEED.

SPOT is designed to facilitate product selection for green building projects and is searchable by:

  • LEED credit, as well as credits from major green building schemes including BREEAM and Green Globes
  • MasterFormat code
  • Certification programs
  • Product types and more

Products feature downloadable documentation that supports the LEED submittal process.

To ensure your products are featured on SPOT, contact UL today at environment@ul.com. Or register for a SPOT account today.
